A tea room that goes back to the early half of the 20th century and still follows some of the traditional ways. There’s two you can visit, one at 119 Sauchiehall Street and the other one at 97 Buchanan Street, for an afternoon’s beautiful tea being waited on hand and foot in style, it’s definitely worthy of a visit.

Hampden Scottish Football Museum

If you love football, then a visit to the Scottish Football Museum is definitely a must. It’s a great way to learn and understand about this wonderful game. This museum entertains and educates in equal measure and is definitely an addition to your list of things to do on a weekend.

You’ll find the House for an Art Lover at Bellahouston Park and it was inspired by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, and you’ll find an art gallery and exhibition space with a café, studio and an events venue. A brewery that’s over 400 years old with traditional methods of brewing, and what they don’t know about brewing beer isn’t worth knowing. They’re so good, they’ve won awards. You can go on one of their tours and discover what it is about Tennent’s that is so special. You’ll learn about its history and you’ll get an opportunity to taste the beer, and see what all the fuss is about. You can watch adverts for Tennent’s over the years and visit their shop where you can buy some souvenirs of your visit.

Shop 'til You Drop

If shopping is your thing, then set off for Glasgow where the shopping malls are amazing. Glasgow is quickly becoming every bit as popular as London, where you can buy the latest in fashion and homeware and stop for a coffee before starting all over again. Glasgow’s most famous shopping malls include Forge, Buchanan, Silverburn and St Enoch Centre.
